Ten days between Christmas and New Year. That is the window SMM, a chair manufacturer in the Deux-Sèvres, gave us to assemble its new powder coating booth and its WAGNER Flexi Center powder centre.

On furniture, series are short and colours change often. The Flexi Center is made for that: a colour change takes four minutes, against seven minutes on a SuperCenter EVO. But everything still has to be ready when the workshop reopens, on the first working day of January.

What we did

Preparation

Site survey, schedule set to the hour and all the equipment on site before the workshop closed.

Assembly

Powder coating booth, Flexi Center powder centre, guns and extraction, assembled in an empty workshop.

Connections

Compressed air, electricity, ventilation and earthing, then checks before power-up.

Start-up

Application settings and colour change trials carried out with WAGNER, production resumed from reopening.

The result

✓ An installation assembled within the shutdown window, without a single day's delay. ✓ A colour change in four minutes, against seven on a SuperCenter EVO. ✓ Long-term follow-up: CREDO remains the site's contact for maintenance and parts.
